Is the picture of the cormorant landing 3 photos merged into one?
@andrew evans: thanks so much for stopping by! And yes, the landing image is a composite that I formed from three separate original frames of this one bird landing. One of the most challenging blending jobs I've done.
@michael, I viewed the photo on flickr and saw your explanation of it there. VERY impressive job I must say. Some really great photos on your blog.
Cormorants are indeed very cool, as are your photographs of them.
